In fulfilment of scripture (Matthew 25:36), the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, the Rt. Rev Fonki Samuel Forba, visited the Buea Central Prison on the 15th of January 2020.

During this occasion the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper were celebrated, the rites of Confirmation and Readmission were performed and foodstuff was handed to a grateful Superintendent of Prisons for the welfare of the prisoners.

He was accompanied by the Synod Clerk, Rev Miki Hans Abia, Heads of Departments of the PCC, the Pastors of Fako North Presbytery and a host of Christians. The Moderator, in a Pastoral Letter, had called on all PCC Congregations to set aside this day for the visit and care of prisoners.
