Rev. Achuranjoh Philip Appointed to Lead Bafut Presbytery
The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) has appointed Rev. Achuranjoh Philip to lead Bafut Presbytery, which includes the Manji Congregation, in line with the Moderator’s vision to strengthen and edify the Church.
On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Rev. Numfor Godwin, Special Envoy of the Moderator, journeyed from Buea to officially hand over the reins during a solemn and well-attended ceremony.
The event drew a large gathering of pastors, friends, well-wishers, and the traditional ruler of Teze, Fon of Teze, who came to witness and celebrate the new chapter in the life of the Presbytery.
With over 30 years of dedicated service in the ministry, Rev. Achuranjoh brings a wealth of experience to his new assignment. He has served faithfully in various capacities, including as Presbyterial Secretary of Ndop Presbytery and Parish Pastor of Bamunka, demonstrating strong leadership and pastoral commitment.
A native of Teze in Momo Division, Rev. Achuranjoh is married and blessed with children. His appointment is widely seen as a step forward in consolidating ministry efforts and advancing the mission of the Church within Bafut Presbytery.
The ceremony ended in thanksgiving and renewed hope as Christians expressed confidence in his leadership and prayed for fruitfulness in the years ahead.
