RECEPTION OF THE RT. REV. DR. FONKI SAMUEL FORBA AT THE SYNOD OFFICE BUEA

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Fonki Samuel Forba has been received back to the PCC after his award of a doctoris causa by the Protestant University of Central Africa (PUCA) on Friday 28th July 2023.

The reception ceremony took place at the Synod Ofice Buea on Monday 31st July 2023.

After a meditation by the Synod Office – Rev. Linonge, the laureate was ushered in by a battery of doctorate holders in the PCC led by the Rev. Prof. Mbengu David Nyiawung.

The PCC Synod Clerk – the Rev. Miki Hans Abia then gave a keynote address titled “Great things he has done.” He gave detailed, revealing innovations and transformational roles which merited the moderator the above award.

Other speakers like the Chairman Board of Trustees and the Akwaya community took the rostrum to recognize and honor the laureate.

The PCC Moderator, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Fonki Samuel Forba then gave a response where he thanked all for being part of the success story to whom he gives back the recognition.

Animation was rendered by the Cherubim Choir Synod office congregation, the Synod Office staff Choir, Nina Nwaseri, Akwaya Youth, Bu traditional dance group and the celebrated artist Ebini.

The occasion brought together a cross section of hierarchy and administration of the PCC.
