PCC Dallas–USA Urged to Bear Fruits for the Growth of the Church
Christians of PCC Dallas–USA have been enjoined to bear fruits of God’s Word for the growth and strengthening of the Church.
The call was made by the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), Rt. Rev. Miki Hans Abia, on Sunday, February 8, during a heavily attended Divine Worship Service.
The service marked a turning point in the spiritual life and growth of the congregation, which had experienced some challenging moments in recent times. Preaching with pastoral concern and fatherly encouragement, the Moderator urged the faithful to remain steadfast as bona fide Presbyterians, rooted in Scripture and committed to the mission of the Church.
He lauded the efforts and dedicated service of the Parish Pastor, Rev. Dr. Joe Set Aji-Mvo, who has faithfully steered the congregation for ten years. The Moderator acknowledged his commitment and noted that, like every worker in the vineyard of the Lord, there comes a time for retirement after years of sacrificial service.
Rev. Dr. Aji-Mvo, visibly elated by the Moderator’s visit, pledged his unalloyed loyalty to his leadership and to the PCC.
Speaking on behalf of the congregation, the Chairperson, Elder Ndifongu Charles, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Moderator for his maiden visit, his patience in listening, and his kind and hopeful words to the congregation.
It should be noted that the Moderator arrived in Dallas on Friday, February 7, where he held a Session Meeting. This was followed by a Congregational Meeting on Saturday, February 8, and crowned with the Divine Worship Service on Sunday, February 9.
All activities ended in praise to the glory of God, reflecting renewed hope and commitment among the faithful.
