#PresbyterialSecretariesBuea

It has been two days of engaging, rigorous and exciting work within the capacity building workshop bringing in the 31 Presbyterial Secretaries of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) at the PRESFLATS (former PESH Guest House) Synod Office Buea convened by the Synod Clerk of the PCC the Rev. Miki Hans Abia.

The relevant and well-chosen modules presented by professionals in their various rights were presented to help build the capacity of these church administrators to be able to be KEY PLAYERS (KPs) at the various presbyteries of the Church. The Capacity Workshop was facilitated by household names like Bezeng Benjamin Kum, Achuo Lesly Lum, Dion Ambe, Rev. Miki Hans Abia, Rev. Dr. Fonki Perpetua and the Rt. Rev. Fonki Samuel Fonki.

Modules like Disruptive Change, Key Players, Time Management, Collaboration and Team Work, Stewardship/Accountability & Integrity, Mental Health: Work-Life Balance, Achieving Social and Financial Balance, Key Challenges of institution Building Initiatives, People make Success, Code of Conduct for Pastors, Arise & Shine, Teams/Team Building & effective Supervision, Census, Staff Evaluation and Humanitarian Forms, and Key Deliverables and Way Forward.

The capacity building process was not only rhetorical but effectively practical as each Presbyterial Secretary was empowered with a Laptop and Flash Drives to help them cope within this era of change.

“Organization’s Success: People make the success!”
