A delegation from the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon is currently in Kapala – Uganda for a missionary evangelistic visit to the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Africa – Uganda.
According to the head of the team – Rt Rev Dr Fonki Samuel Forba, moderator of the PCC, the visit is a South – South partnership to improve on the structure of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Africa – Uganda and their institutions, to encourage the pastors while also learning from each other and strengthen the bond.
Day 1 saw the team Visiting the Luwafu Community Health Centre – Njakindye where the PCC health Services Secretary Dr Nyaah Fidelis lauded the efforts of the four staff headed by Mr Kuwereka Stephen, senior medical officer.
He noted that the health facility still needs much to be desired as space, medication, laboratory equipment amongst others are major setbacks.
Over to God is Real Nursery and primary school, the PCC Education Secretary Mr Njie Kalle Samuel also gave words of encouragement to the teaching staff headed by Pastor Mrs Rwabushagara Maureen.
He noted that the school needs basic didactic materials to sail through.
Lastly the team made a two hours drive to one of the congregations where the Moderator of the PCC and Synod Clerk accompanied by the team members made a financial donation to assist the Congregation complete payment for a parcel of land and also improve on a water source which they use for drinking.
Tomorrow the delegation shall leave for Mballe city where the rest of the activities shall take place .
